Micheal Tyrone Jones, Jr. departed this life on May 28, 2021. He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Thelma Alice Crewe Jones; daughter, Makayla Jones; maternal grandmother, Loreece Crewe; and paternal grandparents, Rosa and George Jones, Sr. At an early age, Micheal accepted Christ into his life and was baptized at Landmark Baptist Church. He attended Richmond and Chesterfield Public Schools through the 10th grade prior to entering the Job Corps in Baltimore, MD. After completing his General Education Diploma through Job Corps, Micheal joined the United States Navy. After leaving the Navy, Micheal tried his hand at multiple jobs until his health issues prevented him from working full time. Micheal loved spending time with his family, he also enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and attending sporting events and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Micheal leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Karen Carter Jones; two daughters, Nyah and Camille Jones; two sons, Jeremiah Jones Sr. (Paris) and Collin Harding; parents, Micheal Jones Sr. and Helen Jones; three brothers, Chad Jones, William Jefferson, and Chauncey Jones (Sarah); one sister, Charity Jones; two grandchildren, Jeremiah Jones Jr. and Aari Jones; three aunts, Lola Bright, Joan Frances Howard and Lois Poindexter; four uncles, Thomas Crewe, Zack Crewe, Garland Jones and George Jones Jr.; mother-in-law, Emily Carter; godfather, T.W. Petty; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, including devoted cousins, Cristen Brown, Althea Crewe, George "Chris" Jones, and Kermit Woolfolk; devoted friends, Colin Andrews, Melvin Boone, Gary Daniels, Troy Petty, and Stephen Scott; and host of other loving relatives and friends.
