William Wellington Kent II, born December 10, 1985 in Atlanta, GA, departed this life, February 2, 2023, in Richmond, VA, where he resided.

Will was a Technical Advisor with the US Department of the Treasury, where he was well respected and made an impact on many of his peers.  He loved nature, gardening, cooking, learning about space, and also loved to build things and solve problems.  Family and friends will remember Will as generous, funny, and always up for adventure.  His greatest joy was being the father of Bash and spending time learning and experiencing life together.

He is survived by his son, Sebastian Kent of Richmond, VA; sister and brother-in-law, Drs. Jennifer and Dylan Lovin of Charlotte, NC; his father and stepmother, William and Sharon Kent of Peachtree Corners, GA; his mother and stepfather, Lucille and Bruce Wheller of Mentor, OH; his grandmother, Patricia Kent of Parrish, FL; his ex-wife, Olivia Kent of Richmond, VA; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Caderock Park in Potomac, MD, Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. to remember and celebrate the life of Will.  All family and friends are invited to attend.
