William J. Hedgbeth, departed this life August 28, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Hedgbeth. He is survived by three daughters, Candace Bradby (Charles), Barbara Redmon of Chesapeake, VA, and devoted Kathryn Harvey; godson, Eben Huskerson of Anchorage, AK; daughter-in-law, Joyce Crenshaw; cousin, Ernestine Green; 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 20 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where viewing will take place Wednesday, September 6, 2023, from 2 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 1 p.m.
