William H. Smith   departed this life May 4, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Smith; six children, Marcus, Henry, Kimberly, Samuel, Deborah and Joshua Smith; brother, Alphonso Smith; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where viewing will take place Friday, May 12, 2023, from 2 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 10 a.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
