Varian J. Kennard departed this life September 8, 2023. She is survived by her husband, James Kennard Sr.; son, Terrence Jackson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where the family will receive friends Monday, September 18, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Cedar Street Baptist Church of God, 2301 Cedar St., on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 11 a.m. Interment Maury Cemetery.
