Tyron Wallace Harris departed this life to be with the Lord on Thursday October 13, 2022. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Aretha Harris and Margaret Butler; grandfather, Joseph Harris; and uncle, Larry Harris. He is survived by his wife, Rosalind Harris; mother, Jane Edmonds (Charles); father, Wallace Harris (Cecelia); grandfather, Floyd P. Butler Sr.; and special grandmother Delores Wood.

Tyron graduated from Armstrong High School in 1994 and was baptized at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He was a Licensed Plumber who loved his profession, and we could agree that he was the best in the city. Tyron loved spending time with his family and was a loyal and devoted husband, son, brother, cousin, uncle, nephew and friend to everyone he knew. When Tyron entered the room, you knew he was there, his smile and laugh would light up the place. Tyron knew the Lord and Tyron loved the Lord. He would tell so many people about the goodness of our God. He was also a Pittsburg Steelers fan, win or lose.

According to his mom, Tyron used to dance for the little old ladies at his grandmother's house and they used to pay him $5 for his services. He also enjoyed playing football and baseball as a youth until his mother said he was allergic to dirt!! Everybody in the city knew "Fly Tye" and when his friends seen Jane coming, they knew to get out of the way.

Tyron leaves to cherish his memories his children, Tyron, Tydrae and Ty'Jah; step-childrenc Rodazia, Rohkim, Christopher and Danod; devoted sisters, Happie and Tyisha; a host of step-brothers and step-sisters; grandchildren, Logan, Ethan and Tylah; mother-in-law, Saundra Jones; father-in-law, Robert Thornhill; nieces, Londyn and Laila; nephew, Chase; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and devoted friends.

Due to the extended family and everyone who has touched Tyron's life, we cannot begin to name everyone.
