TONY CORNELIUS BROADY, age 52, was born in Norfolk, Virginia on March 13, 1973, to Florence Sauls and the late Vernon Clyde Broady Sr. Tony departed this earthly life after a long illness on Saturday, July 26, 2025.

Tony was a humble and soft-spoken man, known for his famous words "Make Something Happen".  Tony was a devoted son, father, brother, and friend.  Tony was the epitome of a loyal provider to his family and a loving, unselfish, dependable, hard-working, family-oriented man.  Tony always demonstrated kindness and he was determined to "make something happen" in order to succeed.

Tony was educated in Richmond Public Schools and attended John F. Kennedy High School.  Tony was a chef employed by Bill's Barbecue for over twenty years prior to its closure; following which, Tony was employed by Virginia Hospital Laundry until his illness.

Tony leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted and loving mother, Florence Sauls (William) of Richmond, VA; one son, Keith Jamal Broady (Kenya Brooks) of Coatesville, VA; three brothers, Vernon Clyde Broady Jr. of Richmond, VA, Wendell Lee Sauls (Tasha) of Portsmouth, VA, and Christopher Eugene Hagans of Chesapeake, VA; two sisters, Crystal Anne Marie Sauls of Richmond, VA, and Markita Renee Hagans of Virginia Beach, VA; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
