Thurman L. Williams Jr. departed this life on August 26, 2022, peacefully at St. Francis Medical Center surrounded by his close family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Hopkins; father, Dr. Thurman Lee Williams Sr.; sister, Linda Williams; and two nieces, Jenae Jackson and Shelly Williams. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Tyris; two daughters, Tierra Neville and TaWanda Brothers (Antwon); step-mother, Hattie Williams; five sisters, Debra Goode, Delores Mends-Cole (Jerome), Vanessa Ford, Carrie Patricia Williams, and Wanda Jackson (Eric Sr.); and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Professional services entrusted to Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 11 a.m. For the safety of everyone in attendance, it is requested that all guests please wear a mask.
