Tarus Shameka O'Neil was a beautiful young lady that God blessed us with. She was born May 19, 1987 to Barbara O'Neil and the late Augustus Jackson, Jr.

Tarus attended the Richmond Public School system from elementary to high school, where she later graduated in 2005.

She was soft spoken and humble at times. She worked in the fast food industry for 8-9 years, where she enjoyed her customers and all the people she would meet daily. Tarus learned great customer service skills and was loved by her coworkers.

Her favorite instrument was the harp in elementary school. Some of her favorite things in life was dancing, cooking and doing hair. She was always ready to have a good time especially around family which she adored.

She leaves to cherish her mother, Barbara O'Neil; one brother, Tryvus O'Neil; one daughter, Teyanna; one son, Tavarus O'Neil; two grandmothers, Maxine Jackson and Lorraine O'Neil; three uncles, two aunts, a host of cousins, other relatives and dear friends, including one devoted Steward Smith.

Tarus will always remain a part of many peoples' lives.
