Tamieka L. Bolden, a woman of boundless love, unwavering faith, and extraordinary strength, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, friend, and mentor whose impact on those around her will be felt forever.
She was born July 14, 1985, and Tamieka's heart was as big as her spirit. From a young age, she was known for her deep compassion and commitment to helping others. Tamieka accepted the Lord into her life early at New Bridge Baptist Church, and her faith was the cornerstone upon which she built a life full of love, service, and dedication to her family and community.
A full-time homemaker and in-home caregiver, Tamieka was the embodiment of selflessness. Whether caring for her loved ones or offering a kind word to a friend in need, her nurturing nature knew no bounds. She found joy in the little things-creating memories with her family, lending a helping hand to those in need, and showing others the true meaning of kindness and grace.
Tamieka's strength was evident in every aspect of her life. She faced challenges with resilience, never allowing adversity to define her. Her laughter was contagious, her heart, immense, and her love for her family immeasurable. She will be remembered for her unwavering commitment to those she loved, her endless generosity, and her ability to brighten any room with her presence.
Tamieka leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and hope. Her family and friends will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Though she may no longer be with us in person, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Christopher Bolden; great grandmothers, Ann Marie Lewis, Edmonia C. Bolden and Celora G. Pryor. She is survived by her mother, Bonnieca Pryor and stepfather Clarence Pryor; three children, Jaliyah Faliferro (Lele), Jacob Ellis and Jerimiah Ellis; brother, Frank Hill III (Jessica Hill); sisters, Tonya E. Blackman and Keuntay Gonder; grandmothers, Margaret Blackwell "NaeNae", and Dorothy Johnson "Ganny", devoted great aunts, Brenda Morton, Anne Marie Lewis (Wayne McKeever), Marketta Johnson and Gail Johnson; great uncles, Ira Johnson, Larry Smith, Attila Johnson "Peewee"; uncles, Leonard Pryor (Janice) and Bernard Pryor (Gloria Macklin); aunts, Mechelle Bolden, Tondra Devarel, Aletta Ford (Derrick), Morgan Gaines, and Qmora Holliday; along with a host of beloved cousins and devoted friend and cousin, Satoya Bolden.
