Ross V.
Myers
d. Feb 1, 2026
Ross Vincent Myers was born on January 4, 1962, in Bronx, New York, to the late Geraldine Arnette Myers and Lauree Willie Myers. He later made Richmond, Virginia his home, where he was surrounded by love as he peacefully transitioned on Sunday, February 1, 2026.
Affectionately known as "Big Ross," by his family and friends that adored him. He was deeply respected by all who knew him and was known for having a true heart of gold. His children and grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy, and nothing meant more to him than family. A mama's boy at heart, Ross carried that same devotion, warmth, and loyalty into every relationship he formed. Anyone close to him quickly became family—no questions asked.
Ross was formerly employed by Snow Jr. King Inc., a prominent masonry contractor, where he worked as a skilled brick mason. He was extraordinary at his trade, taking great pride in his workmanship and remaining dedicated to his craft throughout his career.
In his leisure time, Ross enjoyed staying active and believed strongly in maintaining his health, often spending time at the gym when he could. He was also a devoted fan of his blue and white team—the Dallas Cowboys—and enjoyed cheering them on with passion.
Ross leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife and best friend, Cheryl Myers; his loving children, Shana, Ross Jr., Corey, Gino, Jessica, and Nyjah; and a beautiful legacy of love through his grandchildren, Aniyah, Cassidy, Nylah, Nasir, Cali Love, Amina, Novalee, Najee, Desiree, Zahawn, Za'Niyah, Londyn, and Landon. He is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Kylexus; sister-in-law, Simone; brother-in-law, Melvin; siblings, Lauree Jr., Clark, Allen, and Kim; uncles, Aaron and Arthur; and a host of beloved nieces and nephews, Nicole, Koury, Lala, CJ, Frankie, Angel, Alex, Alfie, Aaron, Sierra, Chloe, and Lena.
Ross will forever be remembered for his loyalty, strength, and unconditional love, and for always showing up for the people he cared about most. Though his presence will be deeply missed, his love and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
