Roland E. Anderson Sr. departed this life September 19, 2023. Roland was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Carol; with whom he shared 65 years of love and companionship. Together, they raised five adult children, Roland Jr. (Charlotte, deceased), Rhonda, Karen, Sharon, and Robbie Anderson. He also leaves behind four cherished grandchildren, Keaonda (Justin), Alonda (Tivis), Roland III, and Brandon (LaToya); as well as five adored great-grandchildren, Alayjah, Jaliyah, Briyonna, Jaison, and Eli; and three sisters-in-law, Helen Hayes, Shirley Cosby, and Alice Tart. Roland is remembered fondly by numerous nieces, nephews, and one devoted, Gregory Britt. He also had a wide circle of other relatives and friends, including the dedicated Lloyd Brown Sr. and Steven Adkins.
