Robert E. Lee

Robert Edward Lee was born on December 13, 1948, in Richmond, Virginia. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and proud United States Air Force veteran. He lived a life marked by strength, kindness, humor, and an unwavering love for his family. His warm smile, generous heart, and words of wisdom touched everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Prior to his military service, Robert received his education through the Richmond Public School system and graduated from Armstrong High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for four years during the Vietnam War. Following his military service, he continued his education at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, where he earned an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering.

Affectionately known as "Bob", he dedicated himself to providing for his family and building lasting relationships with those around him. He enjoyed fishing, listening to reggae music, cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys, and spending time with family. Of all life's joys, nothing brought him greater happiness than being with his grandchildren, whom he loved beyond measure.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving children, Terrence Lee, Angel Walker, Stephanie Robinson, Ashley Pride, and Shane Johnson; his beloved grandchildren, Shannan Spencer, MaLeah Walker, My'Angel Johnson, Xavier Robinson, Ava Walker, and Amira Walker; his devoted brother, George Lee (Pamela); his uncle Joseph Scott; his devoted friends, Delores Brown & Robinette Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Lee, Sr.and Jennie Lee; and his siblings, Francis Medley, Joyce Scott, Virginia Johnson, and Author Brown.

Though our hearts are heavy with sorrow, we find comfort in knowing that his love, wisdom, and legacy will continue to live on through each of us. His memory will forever remain a guiding light, reminding us to love deeply, laugh often, and cherish every moment with those we hold dear.

"Well done, good and faithful servant." Matthew 25:23
