Pearl Eloise Fleming Ellis, born December 12, 1931 in Richmond, Virginia to the late Harold and Doris Fleming, departed this life on July 13, 2024 at the age of 92.

Known to many as Eloise, she was a graduate of Richmond Public Schools and afterward worked for the Food Services Division of Richmond Public Schools.

After her retirement, she enjoyed watching sports on television, especially golf and football, and doing word search puzzles.

Eloise was a lifelong member of Fourth Baptist Church, where she sang in the volunteer choir, served on Usher Board Number 2, and was a member of Mature Travelers Senior Ministry, in which she enjoyed doing activities and taking trips with them.

Although unassuming and soft spoken (sometimes) Eloise loved people and they loved her.  Eloise was a wonderful Mother.  She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Karen; and extended family including Vanessa Ceasar, Joseph Ceasar, Deanna Roberts, Tonya Roberts, Sean and Monique Berry and their children Madison and Spencer. Her Godchildren, Virginia Randolph, Rudolph Randolph, Adolph and Debbie Randolph; as well as her Fourth Baptist family and friends, will also miss her greatly.
