Patricia A.
Singletary
d. Dec 28, 2025
Patricia Ann Singletary entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2025, at VCU Medical Center North Hospital, at the age of 73.
She was born on January 9, 1952, in Lake City, South Carolina, to the late Lewis Singletary, Sr. and Mrs. Della Singletary. Patricia was the second of six children. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lewis Singletary, Jr. and Danny Singletary.
Patricia was a woman of quiet strength, deep love, and unwavering devotion to her family. Throughout her life, she placed her loved ones at the center of everything she did. As a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she gave selflessly—offering guidance, comfort, and unconditional love. Her home and her heart were always open, and all who knew her felt the warmth of her caring spirit and gentle presence.
She will be remembered for her resilience, her nurturing nature, and her ability to bring people together. Patricia found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her children and grandchildren, who were truly the pride and joy of her life. Her wisdom, stories, and words of encouragement will continue to guide and inspire them for generations to come.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories her devoted children, Sandra L. Singletary, Lamel M. Singletary (Michelle), Antoine D. Singletary (Jackie), and Antoinette M. Singletary; beloved grandchildren, Spensean M. Singletary, Mia N. Singletary, A'toine S. Singletary, and Aamya C. Singletary: loving siblings, Willie Edward Hannah, Lola B. Singletary, and Rose Ridgeway; a host of other relatives and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Though she has departed this earthly life, the love, lessons, and legacy of Patricia Ann Singletary will live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her. She will be deeply missed, fondly remembered, and forever loved.
