Edmund Allan Moore was born on Sept 21, 1948, welcome third son and fourth child to Roscoe M. Moore and Robnet Moore (nee Johnson). Beloved brother to siblings Jewel M. Poe (nee Moore, James) and Dr. Roscoe M. Moore Jr (Patricia), Robert J. Moore (Marsha), and Charles L. Moore.  His home was principally in Richmond, VA.  First in Brookville Gardens then Eastview and 2303 Redwood Ave for over 50 years, with periodic stays in Virginia Beach and tours overseas during his Military service.

He graduated from Armstrong High School and then spent two years in college before joining the Army.  He served overseas with distinction in the Transportation Division, before finishing his career with service with the General Staff as an E8.  He continued to support his fellow veterans after his retirement with contributions to Army Emergency Relief Retiree Campaign, honoring retiree's military service and caring for their families.

He loved music, art, and plants, with special pieces of African sculpture taking center stage in his home along with carefully curated pieces of Asian influence too.  He was a big Washington Commanders Fan and an avid gardener, doing beautiful landscaping before his final illness made that too difficult to keep up at his last residence on Del Rio Drive.

He leaves behind along with his siblings a host of nephews, nieces, nephews and niece-in-law, great nephews and nieces, and a great-great niece and a great-great nephew:
