On November 8, 2025, God called home one of His beloved angels, Mildred W. Scott, affectionately known as "Big M." Born in Richmond, Virginia on December 8, 1935, to James T. and Ida P. Woodson, Mildred lived a life full of grace, strength, and unwavering love.

She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Joseph Scott; her brother, Walter C. Woodson; her sons, Franklin E. Scott and Antoine M. Scott; her granddaughter, Qiana A. Scott; and her grandson, Franklin Baker.

Mildred leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience cherished by her children: daughters Marie S. Fleming and Ivy W. Scott, and sons Henry L. Scott and Vincent D. Scott. Her spirit lives on through 10 grandchildren, among them her devoted granddaughter Starshea Robertson; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Her warmth, wisdom, and unwavering faith touched all who knew her. Mildred's life was a testament to the power of family, the beauty of perseverance, and the joy found in everyday moments.

She will be deeply missed and eternally remembered.
