Michael Howard Mack, a longtime resident of Richmond, Virginia died there January 20, 2023, under the care of St. Mary's Hospice.  He was the son of the late Gordon H. Mack and Kay Bell Mack of Princeton, New Jersey.  In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Melissa Mack of Glen Ridge, New Jersey and Margot Mack of New York, New York; a brother, Matthew Mack of Princeton, NJ; and extended family, as well as many caring friends.  He was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1960, and moved to Princeton with his family in 1965, where he grew up.

He earned a B.A. degree from Virginia Union University and did graduate work at the University of Northern Iowa.  He worked in the hospitality industry for many years. He was a member of St. Philip's Episcopal Church in Richmond and was devoted to his fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi where he recently served as Polemarch of the Richmond Alumni Chapter. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, January 28, 2023, at St. Philip's Episcopal Church, 2900 Hanes Avenue, Richmond, Virginia, followed by a repast for family and friends.  The family would be most grateful for contributions in Michael's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Kappa Alpha Psi Inc.'s National Philanthropic Partner.
