Louise Braxton Campbell was born December 16, 1928, in Hanover, Virginia, to the late Sarah P. Braxton. The heavenly Father sent his angels to escort her to eternal rest on June 29, 2023.

Louise joined Cedar Street Baptist Church of God where she attended faithfully. She was educated in Richmond Public Schools and attended Maggie Walker High School.

Louise was always a hard worker and parent who instilled in her children morals, character, and integrity.

Louise leaves to cherish her memories and love: three daughters, Peatrice Myers, Alma Gates, and Yolanda Campbell, a devoted caregiver; four sons: Alphonso Campbell, Sr. (Diane), Earl Campbell (Ella), Gregory Timothy Campbell (Donna), and Eric Darryl Campbell; ten grandchildren: Reggie Myers (Tonya), Kendall Campbell (Dawn), Howard Carn, Alphonso Campbell, Jr. (Tanya), Erica Johnson, Lavonne Jackson (Faris), LaChelle Campbell, O'Brian Campbell, a devoted caregiver, Damien Braxton, and Malcolm Campbell; twelve great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
