God invoked Lolita Franshon White-Miller to her heavenly resting place on October 1, 2024. She was a native of Richmond, Virginia and resided in Jacksonville, Florida. Lolita graduated from John Marshall High School in 1975 and later attended Advanced Career Training in Jacksonville, Florida, earning her degree as a Medical Paraprofessional.
Lolita was born to the late Herman White, Jr. and Shirley M. Craig White on September 13, 1957. She was proceeded in death by her eldest sister, Maria V. White-Stubbs (Ria); only brother, Herman White III (Brother), and nephew, James Green III "Pooh"; paternal and maternal grandparents, Herman White Sr. (Elizabeth) and Hollis White; Linwood Craig (Mary Pearl) and Minnie J. Craig; and a devoted friend, Iris Lee.
Those remaining to cherish her memories are her husband, Horace Miller Jr.; two sons, Christopher White Sr. and Linwood Neal Jr.; one daughter, Kei'Ara L. Watson; three grandsons, Christopher White Jr., Zaad M. White, and Karter Hoover; bonus children, Bradford Gaskins and Kaniya Ruffin; Godson, Brandon Durden Jr. "BJ"; her sisters, Sharonette W. Green (James), Valerie White-Howey (Keith), and Marilyn M. White (Herbert); three bonus sisters, Virginia P. Hayden, Rev. Mary P. Perez, and Wanda M. Richardson; her loving nieces and nephews, Joette Williams (Michael), Rashae Stubbs, Herman McLean, Jermond Green, Kei'shae Green (Karl), Sharnique Washington (George), Keith Howey, Jr., and Malachi White-McGruder; bonus nieces and nephews, Tamika Hayden, Tamara Hayden, Everett Preston, Marlon Davis, NaTia Davis, Mia Harrington, Tarian Green and Teanya Walker; devoted friends, Cheryl Bodrick Suno, Senora "CeeCee" Turner, Sharlene Fowler and Valerie Price; along with a host of great nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A memorial service will be held at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St. on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent via Cash App to $09Lolita13.
