Lemuel Haywood Kidd III, affectionately known to many as "Rusty" or "Uncle Nervous," passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, at the age of 66. A proud son, devoted father, loyal friend, and the kind of man who could make you laugh even on your worst day, Rusty's presence was a gift to all who knew him.

Born on December 19, 1958, to Gladys Argo and Lemuel Haywood Kidd II, Rusty grew up surrounded by faith, family, and friends, the foundation that shaped him into the unforgettable man we loved.

Rusty's greatest joy was his family. He was a man of many talents, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a good story and a lie. To his parents, he was a devoted son who carried their lessons with gratitude. To his friends, he was the one who'd show up with a smile, a story, and laughter that filled the room.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and resilience. Rusty is survived by his children, grandchildren, loving family, and countless friends who will miss him deeply but will carry his spirit in their hearts forever.

A Celebration of Rusty's life will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at the Eastern Henrico Recreation Center , where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of the man who made life a little brighter for everyone he met.

Though he may be gone from our sight, his warmth, humor, and strength will forever be felt. Rusty, a father, son, friend, and fixer of all things, will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
