Lawrence L. Logan, a U.S. Navy veteran, Federal retiree, and dedicated community servant, entered eternal rest peacefully on May 10, 2025. Mr. Logan served as a Naval Photographer, traveling internationally, and earning commendations for his service. He continued his career with the Federal Government, retiring as a Management Analyst with the Defense Logistics Agency. He later mentored youth as a Virginia Senate Page Supervisor and served on community boards. A devoted member of Riverview Baptist Church, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., Club 533, and the Theban Beneficial Club of Richmond, Lawrence Logan gave back through community service activities, youth programs, and significant blood donations to Virginia Blood Services. Mr. Logan was married for 58 years to the love of his life, Shirley J. Logan, and is survived by three daughters, three grandchildren, one son-in-law, his brother, Royal Hampton Logan (Frances); and a host of family and friends.
