Joyce Sydnor Thorpe departed this life January 26, 2023. She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted and loving son, Ramar Moore; stepdaughter, Tracey Thorpe; stepson, Kevin Thorpe; brother, Edward C. Sydnor Jr.; eight grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, two nephews, a host of cousins and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where viewing will take place Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 12 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1127 N. 28th St., on Monday, February 6, 2023, at 11 a.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
