John Collins departed this life May 16, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Mary Collins; son, Eric Collins; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where the family will receive friends Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 6 to 7 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia.
