Joel Antonio Williams departed this life December 15,2022. He was born to Tamara (Tammy) Johnson and Joel (Jojo) Glass on December 31,1989. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents James and Joan Glass. Three months later his maternal grandmother Gail Williams gained her wings.

Joel was born in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated from Hermitage High School where he played football and was a proud member of JROTC.

Joel dedicated his life to Christ as a pre-teen and join Saint Paul's Baptist Church where he enjoyed attending with his family.

Joel loved spending quality time with his family. The holidays were his favorite. He was a great big brother to his three sisters and two brothers. He adored them all immensely. He took great pride in his role as the oldest. His love for his family was unmatched.

Joel was a loyal and dedicated friend to many. He cherished those relationships and held them in high regard.  Always willing to assist or aide however he could.

Joel will be remembered for his kindness, his infectious laughter and the unwavering love he showed to his family. His absence leaves a void that cannot be filled. We take comfort in knowing that he's now at peace, watching over us from heaven.

Joel is survived by his devoted mother Tamara Johnson, father Joel Glass. Bonus parents, Alphonso Johnson and Marnae Glass. Sisters: Jasmine Winston, Raven Winston, Sydney Johnson. Brothers: Josiah Glass and Justin Glass.  Bonus brothers Devin Johnson, Raymond Winston,jr and Carlo Johnson. Devoted cousin, Jameisha Carter. A host of uncles, cousins and dedicated friends that will carry his memory forever.

We were blessed to have him in our lives and will carry his spirit with us always. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him and may we find strength in the love he left behind. Always in our heart Joel.
