Mr. Isaiah Oscar Wilson, a native of Richmond, Virginia, passed away February 22, 2024. He was born to Willie and Maggie Wilson on August 17, 1930 and raised in the Church Hill area of Richmond. Mr. Wilson graduated from Maggie L. Walker High School

After graduation, Isaiah served in the United States Army. He participated in many endeavors that life offered him: gospel singer with the Five Kings of Harmony, local barber, and lastly, employment with the Richmond Times Dispatch from which he retired.

Isaiah was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pearl Wilson; one daughter, Iris E. Wilson Jefferson; brother, William Haywood Wilson; sisters, Helen Wilson Jones, Edith Wilson Riddick, Patty Wilson Patron Wilson and Barbara Wilson.

Mr. Wilson leaves cherished memories to his son-in-law, Cedric Jefferson; grandson, Shay I. Jefferson; six great-grandchildren, numerous nephews and nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends.
