Gloria B. Sykes, of Henrico, VA, departed this life on August 12, 2024. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Ethel Booker; and by a sister, Bulah Patterson. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Stanley L. Sykes; daughter, Terri Sykes; son, Stanley D. Sykes; grandson, Stanley Sykes; sister, Shirley Mayo; brother, Stanley Booker; and many other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Arrangements are entrusted to Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where viewing will take place Friday, August 16, 2024, from 2 to 8 p.m., and where the family will receive friends that same evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Good Shepherd Baptist Church, 1127 N. 28th St., Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens.
