Fred W. Wooldridge Jr., of Richmond, departed this life February 6, 2024. Chico, as he was affectionately called, was preceded in death by his parents, Rosella and Fred Wooldridge Sr. He is survived by his loyal fiancée, Mary Ellison; his devoted children, Fred Wooldridge III (Hope), Rico Wooldridge, and Taneca Wooldridge Moss; his adoring grandchildren, Donovan Wooldridge, Janiece, and Londyn Moss; his loving siblings, Jean Adkins (Carl), L'Retta McCullough, and Dr. Vernon Wooldridge; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and life long friends.

Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where viewing will take place Friday, February 16, 2024, from 2 to 8 p.m., and where the family will receive friends that same evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2 p.m.
