EWING, Dr. Franklin R. J., III, departed this life August 28, 2022. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Hunter; and his father, Franklin Ewing II. Franklin is survived by his son, Dr. Franklin "Beau" Ewing IV; mother, Deacon Colleen V. Ewing; sister, Dr. Colleen A. Ewing; uncle, Willie Venable, of Detroit, Mich.; and a host of cousins, other relatives and devoted friends. Professional services entrusted to Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St. A memorial service will be held in his honor at a later date.
