Frances V. Brown Medley, was born June 30, 1944. She entered into eternal life on Wednesday evening, October 22, 2025, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law.  She was preceded in death by her parents; Eloise Brown, James Roane, brothers; Pumpkin, Darryl, Maurice and sisters; Virginia, Joyce and Patricia.

Frances was baptized at Union level Baptist Church at an early age.

She attended Hamilton Holmes School in King William, Va.

Frances worked at the Richmond Technical Center for 35 years and the Federal Reserve Bank for 15 years.

She leaves to cherish and keep her memories three devoted daughters, Arnetta Wilson (Derrick Wilson, Sr.), Avis Bailey, and Angela Brown. Arnetta and Angela acted as her caregivers. One brother, George Brown; 5 devoted grandchildren, Svondai Brown, Jermise Valentine (Jamal), LaPorcha Brown, Donnesha Brown,  and Derrick Wilson, Jr.; 10 great-grandchildren;  Lon Coward, Nasir Brown, Troy Carter, Kaylah Wilson, Sabastian Wilson, Jocelyn Brown, Kiana Faulk, Devinasia Brown, Jasmine Payne, and Shiloh Tillman; Nephew, Andre Brown (Tracy Brown) of Omaha, Nebraska; two nieces, Alicia Brown and Sharon Brown; two devoted cousins, Horace Briggs and Joyce Venable; four devoted friends, Mozelle Johnson, Thelma Blackwell,  Ann Wingfield and Vivian Roane; host of other nieces, nephews relatives and friends whom were blessed to know her.

Because of the wonderful love Frances shared, she will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts.  We were so fortunate to have had her in our lives and we will miss her dearly.
