Mrs. Edna Merteen Jones departed this life March 15, 2023.  She was born to Willie Johnson and Edna H. Pulliam on January 20 ^th , 1936.  She accepted Christ and was baptized at Fourth Baptist Church in Richmond, Va. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel M. Jones Sr., parents, and her siblings, Oreen Craddock, Lloyd Johnson, and Barbara Henry. She leaves to cherish her memory daughters, Julie Coward (Tyrone deceased) and Jacquelyn Davie (Eric); sons, Daniel M. Jr. (Constance) and Donalvan Jones; grandchildren, Shaundri (Tyrone) and their child Teighan, Daniel, Devin, Deasia and her children Omari and Myasia, and Brett; a host of nieces and nephews, devoted friend, Ms. Dorothy Reed; and other relatives and friends, including Alejandra Gort and Katie Myers.
