Our beloved matriarch Earline T. Green, daughter of the late Chastine and Roberta Dove Turner was born on September 24, 1928 in Chesterfield County, Va. Earline was the youngest of eight siblings all preceding her in death four sisters Leona, Clara, Edith, Parthenia, and four brothers James, Willie, Curtis and Clarence she peacefully passed away on December 25, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of faith, honor, and love.

She grew up in the Brown Grove neighborhood of Chesterfield County, VA where she attended public school and accepted Christ at an early age, she later married Walter R. Green, Jr. She will be remembered as a God-fearing woman who lived in a very meticulous manner; she, was a woman of class, fashionable elegance, and she enriched the lives of all who knew her.

Earline lived a blessed life devoted to God and her family; she joined Gravel Hill Baptist Church at an early age and later joined the choir, she enjoyed singing and volunteering in other activities at church. She retired from Philip Morris after a fulfilling career as a machine operator.  A lover of Southern soul and gospel music, Earline was known for her love of the color purple and for her enjoyment of traveling, playing cards, bingo, shopping, dancing and spending unforgettable moments with her family. Her greatest accomplishment was being honored as the oldest matriarch in the Turner and Green family.

Earline shared many important lessons with her family and friends, including having faith in God, being genuine, honest, loving, speaking one's mind, and moving through life with integrity. She always encouraged others to show kindness and never sacrifice their values.

Her legacy will be her unwavering wisdom, faith in God, and the tremendous impact she made on her family and friends. She left a hole that can never be filled and will be eternally missed.
