Deloris Redd Gainyard, of Richmond, departed this life January 18, 2023.

Deloris Redd Gainyard, 79 years of age, entered eternal rest on January 18, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Gainyard Sr.; son-in-law, Kenneth Hancock; son, Robert Redd; sister, Rosetta Redd; and great-granddaughter, Zuri Dandridge.

Deloris is survived by her sisters, Queen Ann Redd and Thelma Redd; brother, Charlie Redd Sr.; her children, Brenda Redd, Lisa Gail Hancock, Daniel Gainyard Jr., Maurice Gainyard Sr., and (daughters/granddaughters) LaKeisha Nicole Redd, De'Borah Dandridge, and Syreeta Johnson; one devoted daughter-in-law, Lisa Fleming-Gainyard; 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Deloris was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend who was well loved by her community. Some of her favorite pastimes were shopping, reading, watching Sci-fi movies, playing bingo and mastering puzzles.
