On Monday, December 5, 2022, Deanna Walls passed away at the age of 42.

Deanna was born on August 23, 1980, in Richmond, Virginia to Cynthia Knight and David Walls. Since a child, Deanna was a spontaneous and fearless person who always had a great sense of style and a curious mind. Her unique and free-spirited energy was felt by everyone who met her. She was someone who was never afraid to speak her mind and was commonly known to stand up for those she cared about. Her bold and youthful spirit will be deeply missed and remembered by all who loved her.

Deanna was predeceased by her grandmothers, Doris "Granny" Knight (maternal) and Patricia "Grandma Pat" Walls (paternal). She is survived by her mother, Cynthia Knight; her father, David Walls; her two sisters, Davinna Henley and Keonna Knight; and several other loving family members and friends.

To honor Deanna's memory, the family will be holding a viewing on December 15, 2022, from 12:00 to 1:30 pm, at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., immediately followed by a celebration of her life at 1:30 pm at the same location.
