Darryl Alexis Myers, 62, of Richmond, VA entered eternal rest on August 23, 2025, with his loving family by his side. He was born to the late Bertha and Robert Lee Myers Sr., on February 27, 1963. He was the fifth of five siblings and accepted Christ at an early age.

Darryl had a brave spirit in him which led him to serve in the United States Army.  He also had a passion for playing the drums and marching in his high school band. He later moved to Tennessee and that passion for playing the drums led him to play for Liberty Church in Clarksville, Tennessee, and Faith Church in Nashville, Tennessee. He lived the life of laughter in telling jokes at family gatherings or any audience who was brave enough to listen. He also had a fascination for fast cars, even yours if he was allowed to drive. This passion led him to numerous recognitions as a top car salesman.

A Celebration of Life for Darryl will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., Richmond, VA.  Public viewing will be available Friday, September 12, 2025, from 2 to 8 p.m.
