On July 16, 2024, God lifted and carried home his son, Daniel Gainyard III. Daniel, a remarkable man, was born on February 14, 1987, to Daniel Gainyard Jr. and Lisa Gainyard in the city of Richmond, Virginia. He was a man of many talents and passions. Daniel attended J. Sargent Reynolds College. Some of his favorite pastimes where religious studies, photography and working with his brother in the family business, D&G Multi Services, LLC.

Daniel was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Deloris Redd Gainyard and Dorothy Cruel; along with his grandfathers, Daniel Gainyard Sr. and William Lee Fleming.

Daniel leaves to cherish his memories his beloved children, Azya Gainyard, Indya Gainyard, X'ion Gainyard, and Shallah Gainyard; father and mother, Daniel Gainyard Jr. and Lisa Fleming Gainyard; three siblings, Laisha Gainyard, La'Meka Gainyard and David Gainyard; companion, Deondra Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
