Cleeonest Rawls, 76, of Richmond, VA, died Tuesday, June 6, 2023, after a long illness.  She was born in Bucksport, SC, on January 5, 1947, the first of six children to the late Freddie Rawls Sr. and Clee Rice Rawls in Bucksport, SC.

She leaves to cherish her memory four siblings, two brothers, Freddie Rawls Jr. of Chesapeake, VA, and Donnie Rawls of Spring Lake, NC; two sisters, Janet Rawls-Tull (Rudolph) of Upper Marlboro, MD, and Janice Rawls of Richmond, VA; two furry-beloved pets, Bandit and Zack; two nieces, Toye Rawls-Dawson of Suffolk, VA, and Alanna Rawls of VA Beach, VA; a nephew, Aaron Tull of Temple Hills, MD; great-nephew, Malcolm Dawson (Palesa) of Suffolk, VA, and two great-nieces, Mia of Mt. Vernon, IA, and Makayla Dawson of Suffolk, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie Rawls Sr. and Clee Rice Rawls; grandparents, Alexander and Lillian Rice Sr., Rev. Glennie Rawls and Adelina Washington; her baby sister, Wanda Rawls; and sister-in-law, Doretha Rawls.

The family extends their appreciation to everyone for their thoughtfulness, prayers, and expressions of kindness during their time of bereavement.  May God bless each of you and shower His favor upon you.
