Claiborne J. Christian Jr. departed this life May 10, 2023. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Christian; son, Claiborne Christian III (Karen); two grandchildren, Kailen Christian and Claiborne Christian IV; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where viewing will take place Wednesday, May 17, 2023, from 1 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Cedar Street Baptist Church of God, 2301 Cedar St., on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at 11 a.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
