Cheryl Natalie Robinson was born on August 12, 1960, to the late James H. and Wilhelmenia D. Robinson. She entered into eternal life on Monday November 3, 2025, at Henrico Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was preceded in death by her brothers, James H. Robinson Jr. and Richard Wayne Robinson; and her sister, Yvette Robinson.

Cheryl was educated in the Richmond Public School System and worked as a Food Safety Worker for RPS for many years before working at Handcraft Cleaners as a Supervisor. Cheryl moved on to becoming a Nanny full time until her health prevented her from doing so.

Cheryl was known for her beautiful skin and was always asked what kind of mascara she had on. Her response was "Vaseline". She loved family gatherings, and everything had to be prepared from scratch, passed down through the Dabney line.  Everyone loved it when Cheryl cooked, especially her famous macaroni and cheese. She was a loving mother and affectionately called "Nanny" by her grand and great-grandchildren. Cheryl identified herself as a diehard Steelers fan. Yes, the black and yellow.

She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Sharndelle and Sheena Robinson (Lida); and one godson, Valentino Robinson. Her life also continues through her grandsons, RaShaad Sr. and De'Shawn Robinson; one granddaughter, Jamaika Mitchell; seven great-grandsons, six great-granddaughters, brothers, Everette (Nealia), Dale (DaNika), Darryl (Tina) and Raymond; sisters, Clarssia and Elaine; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
