Chauncey Lowell Harris of Richmond, Virginia departed this life on February 19, 2024. He was born on June 3, 1983 to Amy Harris. Chauncey accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age. He was educated in the Richmond Public School System. After graduation he worked for MCV Hospital and held several other jobs in retail. Chauncey was gifted in drawing and tattooing. He was a real sports enthusiast. His favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys and his favorite basketball team was the L.A. Lakers. Chauncey enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. A laid-back, loving kind of guy that loved to joke, he called himself "The Joker" and even had it tattooed on his arm.
Chauncey's health began to fail in 2022 and was later diagnosed with Lupus. He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Amy T. Holt; loving grandmother, Sarah E. Harris; sister, Sarena Harris; brother, Dar'ron Lancaster; nephew, Elijah White; nieces, Elaysia White and Michaela Alexander; devoted aunt, Lesia Baylor (Robert); four uncles, James Harris (Jenny), Sam Harris (Sandra), Curtis and Jason Harris; two best friends, David Crawley and David Giles; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
