Carolyn W. Harris, of Richmond, departed this life February 26, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Harris Jr.; and her brother, Henry Ward Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Harris; son, Cantrell Harris (Mandy); two granddaughters, Skylar and Rylee Harris; two step-daughters, Wanda Smith and Valerie Manuel; three siblings, Mary Johnson, Eddie Ward Sr. (Ruby), and Gwendolyn Rutley; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Professional services entrusted to Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where viewing will take place Thursday, March 7, 2024, from 2 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 31st Street Baptist Church, 823 N. 31st St., on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 11 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
